What should the model bring?

My pictures are mostly headshots , so the image section shows the head and chest area including the arms. Unless otherwise discussed, it is not necessary to integrate pants and shoes into the outfit planning - so wear something comfortable below. The main thing is that you feel good!

What I'm very interested in, however, is everything above the navel:

  • Shirts, shirts, blouses, jackets, pullovers, dresses, ... Look here in the back of your closet! Experience has shown that the conspicuous, extravagant and extreme (also extremely stuffy or trashy) often appear much less conspicuous, extravagant and extreme in photos ...

  • If possible, please refrain from wearing clothes with very conspicuous logos or text of any kind. Please also avoid polka dots and apricot or skin-colored clothing.

  • Hats , headdresses , masks , glasses , jewelry , piercings , watches, belts , chokers ...

  • You are welcome to bring (large) cloths or fabrics: if they are transparent, they are great for experimenting with. If they are not transparent, we can probably do them. Use it as a background or otherwise misuse it.

  • If you like your makeup better, feel free to bring your own makeup. I can't do makeup myself (but I like to paint). Makeup is not a must for my shoots!

  • Basically: if in doubt, bring it with you! No idea is too crazy for me: I love to misuse things and experiment with different materials , textures , fabrics , surfaces , powders , ribbons , foils , liquids , paints , handicraft accessories ...

What should the model consider?

I don't bother you too much in the studio, but in the pictures you can see every pore and every tiny hair on your face. Don't worry, I can retouch almost everything back and forth and if you basically don't like something about your appearance (e.g. a birthmark or a scar), please let me know and I will retouch it consistently in every picture. No skin in the world, no face and no human body is flawless.

... but I like flawless pictures (and you probably too, if you like my style), so I ask you to be particularly meticulous with your appearance on the day of the shoot (and a few days before). If you want to make the retouching easier for me, please note the following points:

  • Fingernails (can also be painted, but then only light nail polish and more subtle, natural colors).

  • Beard: No beard? Then please shave thoroughly. Longer beard? Then please with a well-groomed hairstyle.)

  • Please remove women's beard and small facial hair / fluff (very difficult to retouch!).

  • Eyebrows (men too!).

  • Nose hairs (women too!). If in doubt, ear hairs too.

  • You are welcome to come well rested and pay more attention to skin care a few days in advance.

  • Please take care of your lip care early enough (dry lips are very difficult to retouch).
